Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas as much as Ev and I did!

Our day started at 6:30 am. Now you may think this is Ev's doing..but no. She was woken up by her ever enthusiastic Grandpa...which in turn made us all get up.

Now let me remind you that Ev is my child. She likes staying up late and sleeping in.. so her not getting to sleep until she was ready to be up made her slightly grumpy.

For instance she cried when I brought her downstairs.

She warmed up once she realized she had new TOYS! She didn't really care about opening them. She just liked that she had them. She played for a while and ended up playing with her carseat.. yeah all these NEW toys and she plays with her carseat..

 After an hour I was pretty tired and I could tell Ev was too. So I made her a bottle and we went to bed until 11:00. 

Then we got up and ate breakfast and made cupcakes and of course, PLAYED TOYS! Then Bell's and Great-Grandpa and Grandma came to visit. They played for a bit and then Ev needed another nap. 

That's when mommy and Grandma got ready and we made our way to town!

I love spending time with my family, there's always a ton of good food and everyone has fun. Now that we have Bell's, Ev and Hadley it definitely makes things extremely fun!  Next year will be a blast when Hadley will be walking around with Ev and Bell's.

Ev got a Minnie Mouse racer car and she LOVES it! Seriously won't get off of the thing. In fact ALL the kids loved it. ha

Then we had a yummy dinner. Ev sat at the baby table and ate like a BIG girl. Except of coursse there was a lot to wipe up on the floor after but she ate the majority of her food and it wasn't too big of a mess! haha

Then after that it was some present opening time! Ev got a TON of Minnie Mouse stuff, which she loves! I'm so grateful for a family that loves Ev and I. I got some good stuff too, makeup, lotion jammies and GIFT CARDS! I do love to shop, I must say and I especially LOVE shopping with Ev and she loves it too! So that means quality time with my lover pants!

but honestly, I feel super blessed to have a good family. Ev was loving on everyone and loved having her cousins to play with (my cousin Danny brought his two kids over and his daughter is two days older than Ev)

We all had a blast!

Then we came home and Ev was gruuuuuumpy. I tried to get cute pictures of her but it was HARD. She wouldn't sit still and she'd throw a fit if I sat her down ect. I got a couple though.. lol

All in all, it was a GREAT day and I have a feeling it will only get better :)

Life is GOOD. :)
