challenging.

Things have been quite challenging the past couple of days. I was feeling pretty darn good up until yesterday when I woke up with a terrible stomach ache. Which of course led to puking my guts out. That really sucked because of course the one day I feel like hell, is the one day everyone wants to visit Ev. My friend Venyce and her sister Alisha already had plans to visit but I got a surprise visit from Evs "fathers" side of the family. Which was nice because I hadn't had the chance to meet his mom yet and she was visiting Utah for a couple weeks. She has always been really nice to me, even when me and him were not getting along. Kind of like how we are now. So it was really cool that she got to meet Evee. And she brought Ev some beautiful gifts which I really appreciated.
but slowly after everyone left I kept feeling worse. I took my temperature to find out that I had one of 99.9. Which freaked me out because first off, I had visitors and a baby who I did NOT want to get sick. Also I started feeling a sharp pain in my right hip which also makes my belly feel tender. and honestly is freaking me out since I'm healing from surgery. Its not all to painful but it still hurts pretty bad. I just hope its something stupid and not something that requires surgery. I seriously just had surgery TWO weeks ago and I DO NOT want to go through it again. Plus I can't imagine how it would be to take care of newborn while re-cut open. So I hope I'm just being paranoid. but with that being said it was hard enough to take care of newborn while sick. My mom had to kind of take over. But it was tough to produce breast milk when I was dehydrated from throwing up.
But today I feel somewhat better. I still have the sharp pain but I'm hoping it will go away. In good news I got a hand pump today! I know thats probably not exciting at all but it is for me. lol. Now I can leave the house a little more freely with less to pack. and If I need to get some milk out I can do it discreetly and no one will have to know.
In Ev news, she is doing quite well. My milk is helping her grow and she is doing quite well with breastfeeding. I can even alternate her from bottle to boob and she still does good. But she does throw little fits. And shes a little fighter. She puts up quite the fight when its comes to diaper changes or feedings. When I had her at the doctor she actually gripped the back of the measuring bed thing and held on for dear life. It was a fight to get her off. The nurse said she had never seen a baby do that before lol. My baby is quite strong, let me tell you! but other then her little fits shes pretty good. I love her lots.

Oh and I forgot to mention a gift I got for little miss Ev (but I feel its more for me lol) Thanks to Venyce and Alisha I got a cupcake scentsy! its the cutest thing! and they gave me the scent "happy birthday" which smells like cake! its supposed to go into Evees room but since she sleeps in mine, I put it in mine. Because to be perfectly honest Ev stinks up my room lol. I think I mentioned her "farty pants" before. This child has gas like a full grown man. and the other day my room smelled like her farts until I got the febreeze out. lol I don't know how such a cute little thing can smell like that. haha
