20th birthday, and mothers day

So despite all the bullshit that just happened.. today was pretty good.

I'm officially 20 weeks today, and its my 20th birthday today.. as well as mother's day!

Funny how that works? my last week of being 19 and it was my 19th week of pregnancy and the day I turn 20, I'm 20 weeks.

I'm not a teenager anymore! how weird.. but its cool. I really don't feel 20 at all, I feel like I'm 35. But this is definitely a milestone I guess haha

Well happy mothers day to all those moms! this is my first year being able to celebrate. I'm not a mommy yet but I will be. so I got to celebrate a "pre-mother's day" I got a lot of "happy birthdays" and then "Oh.. and happy mothers day!" I got a couple mothers day cards and a couple little presents! It was really nice and I appreciated it!

Anyways.. I would like to take the moment to talk about my own mother, soon to be grandmother! We had our differences for just a little bit but now were closer then ever. Getting pregnant has been a blessing for our relationship and I'm so grateful that shes here for me. Shes the one who buys me pickles when I crave them, shes the one that goes baby shopping with me, shes the one who goes to doctor appointments and shes the one who will help me raise Evee and she will teach me how to be a good mommy. I really hope I can be a good mommy to Evee like she was to me. I'm so grateful for my mom right now I could cry just talking about it. Shes really been here for me through everything and shes helped me so much these past few months. I love my mom more then anything and I'm glad that Evee gets to be around her. I feel bad that I didn't do much for mothers day but my plans were ruined this weekend and luckily she understood why I wasn't able to go and get anything for her.
