To a soldier

I just want to say something about a friend of mine. I met him in the 8th grade, he had gone to Grantsville in elementary but me being a stansbury kid I never met him. Everyone was saying how cute and cool he was. I just felt whatever about it. When I met him though, I saw why everyone liked him so much and I'll admit it, I had a crush. he was so cute and so cool and plus he said he liked redheads. I loved days when I would see him, and it made me sad when he wasn't at school. I never really did anything about it, because I was to shy and he was a ladies man so I never got a chance but that was okay because we would talk here and there. We went to 8th grade together in Granstville and 9th grade in Tooele. After that I went back to Grantsville and He went to Dugway. I haven't really spoken with him for a while but I would see things about him on places like facebook and myspace. I would also see him around places.

When I heard that he joined the army, I wasn't necessarily shocked but a little surprised. I worried about him in the army like I do anyone who joins the army, because its scary.

on the 13th I was at work as normal. I logged onto facebook to see things like RIP Jordan. I couldn't believe what was in front of me. I just started bawling because it was so unfair. Jordan has a month old child and a wife and a good life, he couldn't really be gone. But Jordan made the ultimate sacrifice and gave his life to save another. Jordan is a hero in every sense of the word and awesome friend and just an all out good person. He didn't deserve to die. I'm glad to say I knew Jordan and I'm so sad that he is gone. he will forever be missed by the people who knew him. Jordan was the ultimate hero an amazing soldier and an all out amazing person. Its such a shock and its insane to believe this can happen to people good people like Jordan. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Love you Jordan, you will be missed!
