Easter

Happy Easter everyone!

Easter this year was pretty good, Ev got SPOILED. seriously. I feel that icky feeling in my belly that I've spent WAY too much money. But baby girl deserves to be spoiled. I also spoiled myself a bit and thats why I'm feeling so guilty. buuuut, Ev got 3 outfits and 2 pairs of pajamas, some shoes (I bought them a long time ago, refer to the shoe store story) A bubble fan, a slinky and a chalk and bubble set. I got her a backpack with a leash! She got the cutest minnie mouse swimsuit! and other little clothing items for summer like a skirt, some shorts ect. My mom got her a little tricycle. She also got some cool plastic eggs (she LOVES to play with them). No I did not fill them with candy. Partly because I knew she'd be getting candy everywhere else and I would end up eating the majority of it. Mama don't need it. She got even more stuff at my grandparents. They had an easter egg hunt for her and Bell's (Kelee and I did that when we were little, its been so long!) and my grandma gave her 3 new outfits and some chalk and coloring books lol, my aunt michelle and my aunt joannie gave her candy. All in all it was a good day! Except my grandpa called me fat and Ev threw quite a few fits. (refer to facebook and instagram for those photos) So there were bits and peices that sucked, but it was a good day!

We also had a TON of fun that past few days. We went to the grantsville egg hunt on saturday (we missed the stansbury one because I am lazy) Ev LOVED all of the people and best of all, the bounce slide! I had to drag her kicking and screaming from it. She also called my ex-boyfriend on the phone by accident (he thought it was funny and was nice about it) lol After that we went to SLC to color eggs with my family. Ev did not care about coloring eggs and I fell asleep by accident. woops. but it was fun nontheless. Then we decided to go to big lots and I found Ev a minnie mouse lounge chair (which I should have saved for an easter present but I gave it to her that night, dumby) We also went to target, or better known as the place where all my money goes.. I should own that store by now I swear. Luckily I only bought Ev a pair of shorts and a bath toy set (it's a little tea set and the cupcakes squirt water!) but I really wanted to find a backpack with a leash. I know that sounds completely cruel, but really its for Ev's own good. Ev is little miss independent and likes to go out into the world. she does not care for holding my hand in public, little stinker. I couldn't find one at target so I decided that I should visit babies R us. and low and behold they had one! a cute owl one even! They also had minnie mouse HEAVEN! and I finally found Ev a swimsuit! I was going to buy her minnie mouse clothes but I didn't want to spend a ton of money (although I did) I bought her instead 3.00 cupcake flip flops and a minnie mouse cup.  spoiled little butt.

I think Ev enjoyed easter though!

Since I've been working at my new job, I've decided that I'm a horrible diabetic and I also decided I really want a CGM (continous glucose monitor) Now I won't go into diabetes talk because I really had no idea how CGM's worked until I went through training and I want one BAD. So that means I need to control my stupid diabetes, find a doctor I like and take care of myself as best as I can! because I just really want a CGM more then anyone can know. Also so I can keep my eyesight, feet, kidneys and teeth. Because I like that stuff, I find it all quite nice and useful.

So anyways.. I'll add some easter photos next time! I hope everyone in Utah is enjoying the beautiful weather (until it snows again, c'mon you know it will!) Ev and I can't get enough! We are outside pretty much everyday. I take her out right after I get home from work. She likes to go for walks (hence the reason for the backpack, so she can't run into the street) I took her for one with her backpack.. and another word about the backpack.. when we go out like shopping for instance. I can store snacks and diapers in there instead of lugging the huge diaper bag or storing it in my already stuffed purse. I won't lie, It cracked me up to be walking my toddler like a puppy lol. but it was fun and Ev loves her backpack. so its not that mean! but she decided she wanted to hold my hand so it rendered the backpack useless.. of course. but Ev also LOVES riding her trike. or sitting on it and being pushed. But she literally sits at the door waiting for me to take her outside, so I kinda have to. lol but I love it!
