As you know it snowed, not just a little but but A LOT. I meant a whole freakin lot!
That means getting home is tricky. Like Friday night. It was scary. Hard to see, the roads were slippery and people who think they can go just however fast and run us smaller cars off the road. yeah.
Well I survived making it home Friday night. I was so happy to get home that I cuddled Miss Ev and we played right up until she fell asleep.
Then Saturday I had to get my butt back into work. It seemed like a lovely day so I wasn't worried about the roads or getting home. Plus I was off earlier in the evening.
When I left work things were clear as day. The roads were wet but not slippery by any means. I get on the highway.. things are good. Then I see the sign that there is a wreck by 4700 and to go slow. Things were slick there and there was a nice 10 car pile up off the two sides.
That got me a little worried but it wasn't snowing..
until I got to the 201 exit and there was a freakin blizzard!
It was BAD too. You could NOT see a thing and there was a ton of traffic and the roads were slick and coated. I decided it would be best not to attempt getting home. So I went to my friend Rachels.
Now this is the first time Rachel and I have had a sleepover since, well, highschool!
It was nice to sit and talk and hang out with Liam. Although I missed Ev like CRAZY.
We kicked Kade to the couch haha
Then they were having a foot ball party the next day so I was well fed. Plus Rachel and I are the same size so I had clothes to wear to work the next day.
worked out perfect! I was so grateful for Rachel to let me stay! I hope that I can make it home tonight though. I can't stand being away from my stinky baby. :(
