I turned 21 today

So I turned 21 today! I feel pretty cool.

honestly it felt like any other day.. I woke up. Fed/changed Ev. We watched mickey mouse clubhouse and played. Fed Ev her cereal. Attempted nap 1. Ate breakfast myself. Played with Ev. changed her/dressed her. Then fed her a bottle and she crashed for a good long nap. I got ready and dressed to notice that my poor severly burned face was now peeling.. lovely..

then I waited.. My mom was going to watch Ev so I could go shopping and go out to eat/drink. but my mom decided today would be a perfect day to mow the lawn and wash/wax her car. Which is fine.. but I wish she would have waited until tomorrow.. she could have at least spent the day with me. We could have gone somewhere, done something but I guess chores were more important? That just hurt my feelings and then it irritated me because I wished that I could have gone and done something with myself.. or taken Ev but I was under the impression that she'd watch her for me. So basically I spent the day doing what I do.. everyday. and Letting other people do what they wanted.. I don't mean to be a whiny baby about it but its the ONE day of the year that I should be able to do what I want.. and I didn't. Oh well.. I guess technically I'm celebrating my birthday Saturday.

I did get to go to PF changs and have some yummy dinner. There I had 2 strawberry daquiris and a margarita. Sounds like a lot but I ate a TON of food to go with it. soo.. it ended up not being too much!

all in all it wasn't a bad day. It was far better than last year and I got to spend the day with people I love.. hardly but still. Just have to count my blessings..

but I was quite upset about my hideous peeling face. My dumbass fault for not wearing more sunscreen. I'm mad at myself right now..

but just so ya'll know, I went to the good old gas station at midnight and bought myself a beer! because I CAN. the coolest part of turning 21 is not drinking, its the fact that I CAN if I want. I have a choice. Plus I can go a lot more places now.. a whole new world opened up! That's what's exciting!
