3 day weekend.

Thank goodness this is a 3 day weekend. I know that I've only been back to work for two weeks but it feels like I have been working endlessly for months. now I'm not saying I hate my job, because it's actually the opposite.. I like it a lot. But its a lot of work. Constant, all day.. non stop. I like being busy though. I miss feeling like I've worked. My last job was mindless and this one is not. You can't be mindless. I like that in a way, other times its rough because you hit a point in the day where all you can do is zone out. Coffee does NOTHING. and energy drinks don't help.. plus they make my blood sugar crazy and I get moody. so those are out. But I was quite happy when the work week ended!

Me and Rachel started this maybe not-so-great-but-fun tradition where we go to dinner on Friday and get drinks. Last week it was chilis and this week it was olive garden. I'd like to mention that the peach daiquiris are A-maaaaaay-zzzzING. Said like so. Plus they brought back crab stuffed ravioli. mm mm mm!

Saturday I HAD to go shopping. I've been feeling pretty frumpy lately and I wanted mint and coral jeans deperatly. I could not find ANY anywhere. I ordered some coral ones from American eagle and then I hit the mall. I was suppose to go with my friend Rachel but she had to go up to Brigham city. So I packed up my little lady and her and I had a mommy daughter day. Of course we started at carter's. Ev got THREE new outfits,almost more but I stopped myself. She also ended up with a dolly. I let her hold it and she slobbered all over it and I felt bad not buying it. Plus it was WAY cute (it even has a matching outfit!) and she loved it.. so I got it. The outfits all happen to be the same color scheme. And I don't seem to have a sutable matching bow for these outfits. I need a dark chocolate brown or an scarlet red. I think I tracked down one on etsy that will be good. I think I might just get a chocolate brown one, so it can match future things. After that we went to American Eagle to look for mommy clothes. I tried on a bunch of shorts with no prevail. But I did find some cute white ones that I needed. I found a new pair of jeans and a couple shirts! Oo and some black sandals. Then I was on my way to Victoria's secret to spend my gift cards when I spotted with my little eye.. MINT PANTS in a store called Bohme. I about peed my pants! So I trotted myself over there and tried on a pair, along with a way cute dress! I ended up getting both :) I'm one happy gal! Then I finally made it to Victoria's secret. They were having their 7 for 26 deal on underwear! So I had to get some, you can never have to many pairs of underwear lol. I needed a new bra, a tan one, to wear under shirts that are more see through. Unfortunately I have lost a cup size in the boob department. I'm no longer a C. I am a B. but I found a really nice bra that makes it all okay haha. But instead of being a 36..I'm between a 32 and a 34. I went with a 34B to be on the safe side. I also found a cute PINK jacket that's pink.. haha Ev started getting upset, so I knew it was time to go home. But I was happy it was a successful day for both Ev and I. I seriously love spending time with my girl. She loves shopping! Plus Its nice to be able to go shopping whenever I want because I ALWAYS have a shopping buddy!

That night I had nothing to do.. I've gone out a couple weekends in a row so I've been feeling guilty.. I know I shouldn't because I work my butt off and my mom doesn't mind watching her. Plus I put her to bed before I leave and I get up with her the next day, no matter how late I was up. But I still feel bad. But I've been wanting to hang out with my friend Nikki for a while, so we decided to go to the bar haha. We started at a place called "a bar named Sue" which from what I've heard was suppose to be fun. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything spectacular. There were a lot of cute guys but we decided to leave and go to Johnny's on 2nd. Which was WAY fun. It pretty much had only guys there.. which was awkward. But there was a live musician who was AMAZING. She had a better voice than Adele in my opinion. but we started the night just sitting and talking when a guy named Jeff came to talk to me. He introduced himself and wanted to play pool. He was pretty nerdy but nice. lol While playing pool we had a creepy guy stand behind us and creepily say Hi.. so I had to keep running away from him haha
Then we sat down and listened to the performance and creepy guy came back and started talking to us as if it was bad that he wanted to hang out with the prettiest girls in the bar.. haha me and Nikki were laughing and decided that we needed to go dance with the drunk guy who was doing spirit fingers. Then we got talking to him and his friend. They told me about how they loved red-heads and I apparently I was very good looking to them and "hot as hell" mind you these guys were waaaaasted. but I was flattered. One guy left me a post-it with his contact info. lol He was very nice, a little old for me but nice and he was handsome. He was a musician and he knows one of my good friends. Pretty cool haha. I don't think I have ever been hit on that much in my whole life. Later on in the evening I was standing next to spirit finger guy and he smelled good, like shampoo I used to use so I told him he smelt like shampoo I used to use, his response was "I'd use any shampoo, you used." Uh.. okay.. lol but all in all it was a good night. I contribute all the male attention to beer and the fact that there were only about 4 girls in the bar. but whatevvvv

then today I woke up with my littles and we played. Then we had to hustle and get ready because we had to try on our bridesmaids dress. All of Rachel's other bridesmaids had problems with their dresses. So I needed to try it on store so we could fix it. Mine was fine but that was only 1 out of 5. Then we looked at the flower girl dress Rach wants for Ev and it's stinkin CUTE. Sucks that it's so expensive but I still love it. And it's what Rachel wants. Then Ev and I needed to drop Nikki's wallet off because she left it in my car. But I was able to see Nikki's son who I hadn't seen since he was born and Nikki hadn't seen Ev since she was 3 months old. (I couldn't take Ev to the hospital  after Nikki had her son). So that was a nice little visit. Then it was off to my grandparents. They were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. It was a nice visit with my family. food and playing with the kiddos. Not a bad time. Plus I stopped at carter's again (don't judge!) and bought Ev TWO more outfits. The matching one to her Dolly and another way cute one that was 6 dollars! Which I need to find a bow for.. if anyone knows how to track down a NEON yellow bow.. tell me!!
Then we headed home because EV was pooped. She fell asleep pretty much the instant I laid her in her car seat and she threw the biggest tantrum when we were home because she was sooo tired. We eventually fell asleep together. The dogs woke us up though. But little miss rolled over to find me and then she snuggled up and we went back to sleep for a bit. I can't even explain how much I love when she does that!

All in all it was a good weekend! I had a ton of fun with Ev. I love being with her all day! I miss it too :( I wish life could be like that all the time.

but now I have about 5 mountains of laundry to do and that's not counting Ev's. So hopefully we can get our chores done and hopefully squeeze a little bit more fun in too.
