Coupons?

So I watched extreme couponing last night and to be honest it was just like watching an episode of hoarders or intervention (but without the help and these people are a little bit cleaner). these people are NUTS. I mean I like the idea of saving a huge amount of money but these people have a serious problem. They obsessively search for coupons and deals. One lady going as far as dumpster diving. They spend their whole weeks planning a shopping trip which is 6 hours long. Their houses look like a grocery store, one lady had enough toilet paper to last her and her husband 40 years, 40 years!! These people don't buy things they necessarily like, need or even want, they just buy it cause it has a coupon. Which is fine but they don't buy like one or two or even five of the product. They buy Hundreds of that product and then they stack it away in their house. These people have a stock of hundreds of different food items and beauty products that they don't even use. Plus they buy even more next week but of a different brand. These people don't feel okay unless they have a stock pile of every packaged product available. I bet if you went to ask to borrow sugar, they would only give you a cup of sugar when they could honestly give you a whole bag. Because they hoard the stuff.  One guy went out and spent 5,000 dollars worth of product and only paid 240.00 dollars. That's honestly amazing, but what in the hell do you need 5,000 worth of product for? especially when your a single man, living on your own? He did donate it, but not even the majority, just a little bit of it. The guy had woman's deodorant piled in his basement and he bought maxi pads. I mean seriously, Coupons are a good thing but these people take it way to far! and its all for selfish reasons. They get a high from doing it I guess, but seriously you could use that crazy obsession for good! like shopping for charities or homeless shelters, you could seriously help so many people out! If I did stuff like that I would donate most of it, its not like I really paid for it. These people, I can't even explain how nuts they are! really, please watch the show! I think they should call Dr. Drew for these nuttos. Seriously spend your money on things you need and you don't need 500 things of the same product. I just don't get it. lol
