Sick

Ev had her 18 month check-up the other day. I noticed that she was getting sick on Friday.. and I could tell she really  didn't feel good Saturday. Luckily she had her 18 month check up on monday.
Ev has had a really bad hackey cough, she wasn't sleeping. She has a runny nose, red eyes and you could just tell she was miserable.

Everything at the doctor was good besides her being sick. She's on the skinny side? which is weird because, no one is really skinny in my family lol
but the doctor decided to do a RSV and strep test. Her oxygen levels were perfect and her cough wasn't in her lungs.. so they swabbed her and told her they'd call me later.

Well I got the call and they let me know that she has RSV.. and not only that but she has strep too!
I pretty much wanted to cry!
I can't believe that she is THAT sick. I knew she was sick but I didn't realize it was THAT sick. Nothing makes me feel like a worse mother then finding out your daughter has not one but TWO horrible sicknesses.

Luckily shes now on antibiotics and shes regularu getting tylenol. Shes acting SO much better today, more like her happy goofy self. She went to the doctor to follow up with the RSV and everything is still looking good. She's sleeping and eating and drinking..
and she's getting babied lol. She's been getting baths every night, getting slurpees and lots of loves. ALso I've been letting her nap as much as she needs which seems to be helping. She's getting better, I can tell. But it's still the saddest thing in the world.:(

18 months old

Ev is officially 18 months old as of the 2nd!

I would have posted it that day but, I was in my friend Hailey's wedding and Ev has been sick so its been hard to take her picture.

Plus my computer is not working very well with blogger and I can't post on my home computer.
So here it is:

Ev at 18 months

She loves climbing the stairs, she can go up and down them now.
She talks a TON. She likes to say mama a lot. Of course "no" and "shoes" is another word I hear a lot.
She can say all of my aunt's names. SHe can say the girl on fresh beat bands name: Kiki. She even learned how to say "more" in sign language. I'm trying to teach her please and thank you..in either sign language or words lol she can say cupcake though! She also likes to say HI! and she has her own chunker chatter that she will do and she always ends the sentence with "mama" or "baba" She especially loves to tell everyone at the grocery store her stories lol

She has peed AND pooped in the potty! A couple of times :)

She LOVES balloons and bouncy balls.
She LOVES baths
She loves her candy and chocolate
fresh beat band, yo gabba gabba, mickey mouse, and bubbles guppies are her favorite TV shows.
She will eat pretty much anything, especially if I'm eating it.
She loves playing with phones and answering them with an enthusiastic HI! (but not if someone is actually on the phone) she also loves to pretend to take her picture. She'll smile and say CHEESE! but not if she's actually getting her picture taken lol
She loves popcorn and pickles and rootbeer floats
she absolutely LOVES ketchup.
She loves to rub my feet and bring me drinks (be jealous!) lol
She's not so much of a cuddler anymore :(
She loves to dance and twirl.
She loves doing her makeup and hair
She loves putting her clothes on (well attempting to by herself)
She loves putting on shoes and playing with them
She loves running errands with me
She loves to make messes. Nothing can be clean around this baby.
She loves eating lotion and butt cream (yeah, I'm not lying)

She likes to hit sometimes but I'm trying to teach her not to do it. She likes to rub food in her hair and dump her plates all over the place but We're trying to get these bad habits to stop!
Oh jeez, what else can I say?

I love this girl more than anything. I can never say that enough and There's not really a word to describe how much I love that stinky baby. She's such a joy and so much fun I can't imagine life without her, ever. She means EVERYTHING to me. I feel really blessed to have such an awesome little girl. I just don't understand where these last 18 months ran off too.. and I really wish they would stop going by so fast. I love her at this age.. but I can't wait to see who shes going to be, and everything that comes with her growing up.
