Shopping time!

I just finished my last weekend at highland ridge and now I'm finishing my last two days here.

It's bittersweet.

It's also very strange to leave something I'm comfortable with and a place that I like for something i have no idea whether or not I'll like. It's scary but I guess that's life.

I finally got my tax return back! Which means that I've paid off my two speeding tickets and they are NO longer on my record! I also got to spoil my baby. which I LOVE TO DO.

I bought her some new sandals. which was not real fun to by since she threw the BIGGEST fit in the shoe store.

I had to wake her up earlier then usual that day (which was like 9:30) because we had to go pick up my mom. Ev likes to sleep in, I mean LOVES to sleep in. It takes a lot to wake that kid up before 10:00. Most days she even sleeps in until 11:30. Now it sounds all nice and dandy but its kind of sad on my work days when I have a limited time to see her early in the day and she is sleeping through it. little butt. She needs to be on a better sleep schedule for my new job...

but back to the story, Ev needed some new summer sandals because its been a little warm for boots. and her tennis shoes don't look cute with everything. so I took her to payless in Tooele, because its really the only place to buy shoes. sadly, they didn't have the shoes I wanted in Ev's size but they had some clear jelly shoes. Now if you're around my age you have to know what jelly shoes are. I had a million when I was little. I was obsessed with them as a kid! So I made her try them on and by God did that kid fall in love with those jelly shoes. She REFUSED to take them off and she wouldn't try on anything else. She would kick and scream if I tried. So therefore taking the shoes off to pay was not going to work.. and she had to wear them out of the store. Not only that she did not want to be held. She wanted to run around the store, which she couldn't do but it pissed her off, so she cried all the way out of the store. I was embarrassed! I'm not used to her being like that.

Luckily she calmed down and we were able to eat some yummy La Frontera. Then we went to good ol wal-mart and I got Ev some new pajamas and a couple new outfits. She also got a toy vacuum cleaner. Sadly it does not work like a real vacuum lol. After shopping we played outside for a bit and went for a walk and then got slurpees :) so it was a really good day!
Yesterday we went shopping again. this time to my favorite place ever (target) and I bought myself a new shirt.. Ev got her Easter dress which is the one I was dying to buy her and I got it! It is so cute and I even found a matching headband! she also happened to get two pairs of Jammie's too and even a broom set. (she loves taking the brooms out of the pantry, but they're scary because they are taller then her) I don't know her obsession with cleaning stuff, but I'm not complaining. Then we stopped at oldnavy and I bought myself a nice summer dress and sweater and another shirt, Ev got pants, a shirt, a romper and a skirt. yeah she's spoiled.. haha

but all in all its a good deal. I LOVE to spoil Ev. It's funny because in the old days I would by myself a ton of clothes but now I'd rather buy Ev stuff :)

I also had a date. I don't go on them often because I don't have a ton of time. but I went on this one. I've been on a few dates with him before. He just got a new place so we made dinner at his house (I don't know how to cook but I pretended and I think I fooled him haha) and watched movies and had a few drinks. It was a really nice time! I usually have really nice dates with this guy and sadly we just don't get to see each other a lot.

But anyways.. today at work has been absolutely nuts. Something I will not miss.
