quick update

Life has been incredibly busy as of late! Work has been nothing less than NUTS! We just opened the upstairs unit which means we are accepting twice as many patients including adolescent patients. The phone is constantly ringing, there's people coming in ALL of time and they completely disregard the visiting hours and get pissed when I won't let them back. Plus the phones upstairs don't work so no one can't get a hold of anyone up there.

To say the least, I've been VERY frustrated at work. Everyone acts like they don't know anything and they aren't very helpful and leave me to deal with angry people who want answers but can't get them. Plus people just don't understand the rules and policies we have in place. I get that they want to see and talk to their family members as much as possible but they need to understand that their family is in treatment and if they could talk and see everyone whenever they pleased.. well then they shouldn't be in treatment? but.. we all know people and I guess I don't  understand because I haven't been in the situation but still!

There also has been some crazy times. We had a kid bash his head through a glass door because he was mad at his mom. My first time calling 911!  Yeah, fun times..

Other than that things have been pretty crazy. My Grandpa has been very sick lately and its quite scary.. They thought he had a heart attack but now they're not quite sure and I'm praying that everything will be okay. I need as many good thoughts and prayers as I can get.

Everything with Ev has been good. Except the little bum refuses to walk.. I have no idea why but its starting to frustrate me! Seriously WALK ALREADY! she can, she just doesn't want to! but shes a wonderful, happy little girl and I honestly couldn't ask for a better little girl. She makes me sooooo happy :)

speaking of Ev. I got some halloween pictures taken of her! Kendyl (who took her first year pictures!) offered to take some of her and I LOVE them of course! Here's a little sneak peek :)
