first day

So I started my new job today! It went pretty well. A lot of stuff to learn and it makes me a little nervous.. but it's only day one. It's going to suck having to wake up as early as I have to, the drive there is going to suck. The people are all pretty nice I think. Really quiet but its the first day..
The company I'm working for seems like a really good company, they are just starting to really branch out and become a bigger company. All the people that work there seem to be my age.. but they're all childless college students and it didn't seem like they were married. I was the only 1 out of 13 in my training class to have a baby.. and one person was married. So I might be a little out of place..especially being a single mom.

but anyways.. I feel pretty good. I finally cleaned my room and Ev's room. They were train wrecks! and I've got laundry done and put away and I even cleaned out my car and purse. I even was able to bathe and feed Ev. Along with playing with her for a little bit! I like getting things done. Especially since I slacked off for the last week or so.. Now I feel like the zombie of death.

So I'm going to make this post short and sweet.. well shortish. I won't be able to be online as much that means no more facebook/blogger/pinterest all day long at work. Hell I can't even have my cell phone with me at work! Its very high security. No phones or purses are allowed back on the floor. and I'm not allowed to do personal stuff on the computer. Since we're dealing with medical records and such. Which I'm not to bummed about. I'm WAY too obsessed with this stuff. Partly because I really had nothing better to do.. which now I will so I won't be on here as much.

but the thing i like most about this place is that you can decorate your desks however you want. My old work you could only have a few things on your desk and a few pictures hung up on the sides. You can have food and drinks at your desk! You can wear jeans. On fridays you can even wear shorts! At my old job (although I broke the rules and did it anyways) you couldn't do any of that. Its pretty laid back besides the whole no cell phone thing. Plus there's some great food real close by. Like zupas! I have never ate there until today and it was GOOD. They have the best clam chowder I think I've ever had.

but that's all I want to say lol. I'm e-x-h-a-u-s-t-e-d.
