Ev's first easter!

So today was Easter and that means it was Ev's very FIRST Easter! Definitely took my mind off of things lately and made me feel better. My little lady sure makes me happy and hopeful for the future. Its a lot of weight on my shoulders to know that I'm souly responsible financially. But I'm a proud woman and I WILL be and I'll do what it takes to make sure we have a comfortable life. buuut, let me get back to Easter.

So I woke up bright and early to miss jibber jabber. I can hear her in her crib just talking away. since it was 7 o clock (baby girl needs to learn the wonders of sleeping in!) I was super tired. Luckily Ev caught the drift and ate a bottle and fell back asleep for like another hour and a half. Then we woke up and played with Ev's Easter basket! I didn't go all out for Easter this year, since Ev already has enough clothes and toys. But I did buy her some plastic eggs, they are shiny. And like I thought, she liked them lol. Then She got some rubber duckies, which she likes very much. She also got an outfit and some Minnie Mouse Jammie's. Mind you, I bought her a swimsuit and sunglasses for Easter that shes gotten early and some other things lol. We were enjoying playing with them when Miss chunkers took her first spill. My dog stewie loves Ev very much and likes to give her kisses, and he was doing that while we were playing. Ev lost her balance and feel backwards smacking the back of her head on the fireplace. It scared me so bad because The edges of things are soooo sharp! I didn't even think of her falling back because I was close enough to stop her but right at that moment I was taking pictures so I couldn't. Poor thing screamed her heart out and she has some scratches and a tony cut on the back of her head. :( you bet I cried.

Luckily she calmed down, ate took a nap and we got ready to go to my grandparents for Easter! Miss bells was super excited for her baby cousin to be there! Ev got a couple more Easter presents. She got her very own baby doll! and another outfit and Jammie's :) She also got one from Rachel, she got eggs filled with baby treats, foam letters (she loves them! They are fun to chew on!) and bubbles. So all in all.. it was a pretty good day! It was a complete success and although there were some mishaps, it was still good.

but.. Bells bit me. That hurt. She likes to do what Ev does. (I think its a jealousy thing) and because Ev bites (which she needs to stop because shes got teeth herself now) Bells thought it would be cool to bite my finger. FREAKING OUCH!
