Making Christmas

I loooove the holidays! Especially this year. Mostly because it's Evee's first christmas! It makes the holiday more meaningful, it isn't about just gifts anymore. So this year my mom and I decided to go all out on decorating. I decorated the Christmas tree again this year and I put ALL our ornaments on there. I love a full tree! Plus I'm going to put decorations ALL over the house. Just for Ev, even if she doesn't know what's going on. I even decided to buy Ev her own christmas tree! They had some mini ones for 8 dollars at wal-mart, along with CUPCAKE ornaments. CUPCAKE!! I had to buy it! Now she has her own little tree in her room :)
I also bought Ev some of her christmas presents! I'm honestly not buying gifts for anyone this year and it's partly because I was off of work for almost 3 months and spent all my savings for that.. Plus I brought Ev into this world, I think that's my universal gift for everyone. You're welcome :) haha. But I HAVE to get Ev presents. I'm not getting her too many because she's still really little and doesn't need a whole lot. But I had to rack my brain to think of good presents she will like/need that she doesn't already have. My mom has already gotten her some animal hand puppets but I found her some cute things. I bought her a glow worm! She loves it too! I played it for her and she smiled and stared at it. Hopefully she will like it come christmas time! I got her a tea set thing. Its for 6 months+, so she won't be playing with it right away. But it teaches shapes and numbers and also manners! Hey! Plus it's super cute. I also got her a little play thing for the handle on her carseat. And I actually gave that to her now. My bad.. but she doesn't like the car if she's awake.. so I think she needs it now! lol I think I'll get her a couple more things.. I want to get her a kicking thing for her crib and a little ball shooter thing. (It's a little thing that you put balls into and it shoots them out.) My cousin bought one for Bell's last year and she LOVED it. and probably some more little chew toys :) Sad part is that she has too many clothing for now. Maybe I'll find her some 6-9 month outfits. I also need to get Rachel's little guy something. I'm thinking a ball shooter too! haha.

Looking at all the cute girl toys though, make me excited! I can't wait to get Ev a little kitchen and play food and dress up clothes! Not to mention, DOLLS :) ahhh I love having a little girl!

I'm just so ecstatic for Christmas this year! And it's not because of getting gifts, it's because of what Chunker's is going to get and how much it's just all for her. I'm excited for her to have her first Christmas! It's just too fun. I just love having a good reason to celebrate and make the best of each holiday! It have so much purpose because it will mean a lot to Ev. I can't wait to play santa :)
