Baby shower.

so my shower was yesterday! I feel it was quite the success. Thank you Jen!!
I feel bad though, I didn't invite all the people I wanted to invite and I didn't get all of my invitations out. :(
but all in all it was a good event!
I got a lot of things i needed like BLANKETS. My great-grandma Larsen makes these cute blankies with burp clothes that match and I LOVE them. I was sad for a while because I thought that she wouldn't be around by the time I decided to have kids. Luckily for me I was blessed with little miss Evee at this time in my life, which is the honest truth because A. My great-grandma is still here and B. I have no complications or damage from having diabetes right now so my body is healthy enough to have a healthy pregnancy. so yeah! I also got a little receiving blanket from my great aunt Maxine, its so cute it has a cherry pattern on it! I also got a couple of carter's blankies, a few receiving blankies, and a caterpillar blankie that is VERY soft!
I also got lots of bottles and a couple binkies! Rachel got me the bathtub I wanted and her and her family got me a TON of stuff! I was so shocked. They even got Ev a little CUPCAKE COSTUME!!!!! yes a cupcake costume for my little Evee bug! I didn't think they even made those! My little cupcake gets to be a little cupcake! They also got me a skeleton onesie! Rach has the boy version even :)
I got LOTS of clothes and lots of clothes with CUPCAKES :) You guys know me too well! I got a diaper genie, a little sleeper thing (like a bassinet), I also got a diaper cake! it was adorable. and I got plenty of towels and bath stuff. Money and gift cards and fun stuff like that. and yes my gift cards are SPENT. lol I got the rest of evs room stuff! I bought a hamper, a window valence, extra sheets, a changing pad, a diaper stacker and stuff like that. OH and I also got the mobile for her bedding. SOOO cute! I'll try and post pictures once I get my lazy butt up to do it haha

So, thank you everyone! Ev is one lucky lady and is going to have a great start out in life!! I'm so grateful for everyone who has helped me with stuff and who have given support throughout this whole thing. I'm excited for Miss Evee to make her appearance!

Now its time to play the waiting game.. come on little Evee.. Mama wants to see you!!
