28 weeks

I'm 28 weeks!

 

That means I'm in my 7th month and my 3rd trimester!

 

Its quite the exciting week! I have 12 weeks left, even less since Ev might come early (She can come 2 weeks early I've decided lol)
I'm obviously starting to get in the uncomfortable stage of pregnancy. and boy am I feelin it. I do good in the day, the only thing that gets me is walking long distances and walking up flights of stairs. Although my work has elevators I still take the stairs, I always regret it by the time I've walked up them, but hey, I try! The only time I'm really, really uncomfortable is at night. which sucks. I'm good up until I turn of the light and close my eyes that's when I get

• hot feet
• heartburn
• achy shoulders
• achy ribs
• achy body in general.

I just can't get comfortable at night! I literally have no way to lay that's comfortable. I cant breath if I lay on my back, when I lay on my sides it makes my ribs and shoulders hurt, plus Ev likes to poke my sides if they touch the mattress. and I absolutely cannot lay on my stomach! I got away with it for a while but it hurts to lay on my belly. Plus Ev lays right in the front of my belly so It will squish her to much. Laying on my belly is like laying on a balloon. so I don't attempt it anymore. lol The other night I had to actually get up out of bed and try and sleep on the couch. I laid in my bed from 11:30 to 2:00 so I went to the couch and turned the TV on (I hate sleeping in big areas in complete darkness) but it wasn't comfortable enough, so at 3:00 I went to our front room and slept in the couch in there. Let me tell you, for "formal couches" those are some damn comfortable couches! I was out quickly. Although I was awoken to a BAM BAM BAM. I thought I had dreamt it since my mom didn't come running downstairs and my dogs weren't barking. It scared me anyways so I went back to my own bed and slept okay then. Come to find out my mom heard the noise too, I'm assuming it was fire crackers. I felt as though we lived in Compton for a minute lol

but anyways.. like I said Ev lays in the front of my belly. Right under my belly button. The cool thing about that is I feel her moving so much, and I can touch my belly and push on her. Its really creepy but also really cool. for example, last night I felt my belly button being pushed up and I pushed on it and pushed something in. I'm guessing that was her little elbow. Ev is quite the mover though! I love just sitting and watching my belly move and bounce. I should get a video of it, its really cool! I also have a pretty hearty appetite. which is nice since the beginning of this thing, I had NO appetite and I had such a hard time eating. I love being able to eat and actually craving food! I'm not like scarfing down food all day, its usually only later in the evening. and its mostly sweet stuff. like today Ive wanted stuffed french toast and donuts. also Cheetos puffs tend to be a common craving, along with fries.

I really need to take pictures of my life, but I haven't felt like it, so no pictures from today. but I went to the west Jordan event thingy with Rach. It was fun! I didn't do anything up until that just laid around and relaxed! which I love doing! (A year ago, I wouldn't be able to sit down for long, my things have changed!) I had a very unfortunate incident involving a donut though

So I went to maverick to get a drink and some Cheetos puffs (don't judge, I ate a healthy dinner!) I offered to get my step-dad a fountain drink while there. So I got him one and I got myself one and Cheetos puffs and I noticed the donuts lookin mighty good in there little shelf unit and I HAD to have one. So I got one.. I went up to pay and since I had so much crap in my hands (the donut) I tipped over my diet pepsi. Luckily I only spilt a little but still, way embarrassing! I helped clean up, and paid and they were nice to me about spilling, probably cause I'm prego but anyways.. lol So I grab my loot and go to get in my car and with as I was shutting the door.. my donut slipped out of my hand and onto the asphalt. :( yeah I lost my precious donut, and I was to embarrassed from spilling to go in and buy another. So I left without it.. sad, sad moment.

but I did go and get another one! lol I had to do it! Me and Rach went and got snacks before the fireworks, so I'm no longer that sad about losin my donut. Plus it probably made some bird very happy. So I can't feel to bad.
