I am blessed.

I heard a bible quote today. Now I'm not religious, nor do I really pay attention to bible quotes. but this one really hit home for me.

It went something like this:

Those who are thankful no matter what situation they are in, will be blessed.

If you've read my blog you know I'm in a bad situation. I need to be thankful, I need to remember that no matter what people do to me, I'm getting a daughter. A beautiful daughter. and I am thankful for that. I thank God everyday for her. I never knew I needed her in my life. I get her, and shes mine to love and cherish forever. She's a part of me.

I would think of her as a blessing also, because by God, she's a blessing. 

So I guess people can hurt me, and betray me and try their damnedest to sabotage my happiness. But no matter what they do, I'm blessed and I'm very, very thankful for that. I'll be blessed always now that I have Evelyn.

So do it, hurt me again, and again. I can take it.
